November 15 – Cancelled Sightseeing

The hacking and coughing continue so we cancelled yet another day of sightseeing today. 

During breakfast we were rather mesmerized by a couple of men who were cutting the lawn.  Seems a pretty simple task but this was accomplished on their knees using over two-foot long, hand-wielded knives.  We are so used to everything being mechanized that it is amazing to see how third-world countries accomplish the same tasks using good old-fashioned muscle-power.

After that it was back to the room and a day of relaxing an trying to recover.  Did nothing today, including lunch.  Just sat, read, coughed, napped, worked on some photos, coughed, napped some more, and then down to dinner. 

Did managed to get on the limited Wi-Fi in the lobby and did a quick Google.  Concluded that there is a high probability that we both have bronchitis.  Great (not).
